How to Convert Leads into Sales
Today’s lesson is about how to convert leads into sales. In the past we have talked about how to get more leads, now that you have them what are you going to do with them. Your first step is to CALL them and start qualifying them for what they are looking for. You need to find out their wants,needs, desires and why they are looking before you can suggest a solution to their problem.
When you call them use a profile sheet that has a list of questions on them and start asking them the questions. This should be done after the warm-up. Find out how serious they are about starting a home based business or if their with a company what has changed to have them start looking at other opportunities. You want to weed out the tire kickers right away, take control of the call and don’t be afraid to tell someone this is not for them. Keep in mind if their a pain at the interview process then they will always be a pain. Is this someone you want on your team, don’t be afraid to say next and move on.
We are all geared to recruit everyone, but bottom line is your not going to recruit everyone. Take the best of the best when your looking for quality people to work with. Your next step is to ask that person if they are in front of a computer and guide them to what you want them to do. I will take them to my presentation and have them load the page, after the page loads I tell them to watch the video and call me as soon as it’s done. I let them know that I will be expecting their call in 45 minutes and if I don’t receive their call that I will assume they are not serious about the opportunity. When they call back you want to find out what they liked about the presentation if they keep talking about how great they thought it was and continue going on about the program, then say it sounds like your ready to join let me help you start the process.
I personally take them to my sign up page and walk them through the signup process. I have them load the page then tell them to click on the join now and walk them through the process. After they are signed up I tell them the process of their training and give them a assignment to complete and tell them to call me when they complete it. Again I tell them that if they don’t call me I will assume they are not serious about their goals.
This process will help you convert more leads into sales, and you will see your conversion ratio get closer to 60%-75% I know some people who close 80% of their leads into their system. Keep in mind people need to be told what to do if you leave it up to them to go to the website on their own you will lose alot of sales.
